Recently, Suzhou Haoda Business Equipment Co., Ltd. successfully held a comprehensive fire drill across the entire company. This drill aimed to enhance the fire safety awareness and emergency response capabilities of all employees, ensuring that in the event of a fire or other emergencies, they can quickly and orderly conduct self-rescue and evacuation, safeguarding both the employees’ lives and the company’s property.
Background of the Event
To further implement fire safety production work and enhance employees’ fire safety awareness, the leadership of Haoda attached great importance to this drill. The company’s safety production department meticulously planned and formulated a detailed drill plan. The drill included fire alarms, firefighting, personnel evacuation, first aid, and particularly strengthened the practical training for employees in using fire extinguishers, ensuring all critical response measures in the event of a fire were covered.
Drill Process
The drill commenced promptly at 10 AM. When the fire alarm sounded, the simulated fire scene quickly spread. Upon hearing the alarm, employees from all departments followed the pre-trained fire evacuation routes, orderly leaving their workstations and heading swiftly to safe zones.
During the evacuation, floor evacuation leaders played a crucial role. They organized the evacuation while continuously counting personnel, ensuring no one was left behind in the danger area. Meanwhile, the designated firefighting team responded quickly, carrying fire extinguishers to the “fire” scene.
Under the guidance of the on-site commander, the firefighting team members swiftly located the fire source, pulled out the safety pins of the extinguishers, gripped the hoses, and aimed at the base of the flames to spray. Each employee demonstrated proficient operational skills and calm emergency response capabilities, quickly controlling and extinguishing the “fire.”
Activities after rehearsal
After successfully putting out the simulated fire, employees gathered in the conference room to watch a comprehensive fire safety video. The video covers fire prevention, proper use of firefighting equipment, emergency evacuation procedures and first aid techniques. The aim is to consolidate the practical operation experience in the drill through theoretical knowledge to ensure that all employees have a comprehensive understanding of fire safety.
Results of the Drill
